The sun comes out in the day. The day was meant for humans, the living. Vampires are technachly half dead so they can't come out. They also still have a brain and can think for themselves, which makes them different from Zombies. Another thing is, that humans could see them and could run for help or whatever, in the day. At night, when there's only moonlight, humans can't see as well so vampires can get their food. That's just how they were re-made.
No, the Moon generates no light of its own. However, it reflects the light of the Sun, so when you see moonlight you are actually seeing reflected sunlight.(They apparently didn't think about that when they created the vampire legends. If sunlight kills vampires and moonlight is just reflected sunlight, why doesn't moonlight kill vampires, too?)
No, vampires in folklore and popular culture are typically portrayed as being harmed or destroyed by exposure to sunlight. They are often described as being vulnerable to sunlight due to their mythical nature and characteristics.
Moonlight is made from the sun's rays reflecting off of the moon's surface.
Well, in most of the stories it says they can't, but nobody knows if it is true because there is no true proof. It use to be that vampires were not much affected by sunlight at all. Count Dracula walked around in the sunlight quite freely. It wasn't until the movie Nosferatu came out in 1921 that sunlight became lethal to vampires. Only recently have vampires regain much of their resistance to sunlight.
Sunlight is the light emitted by the sun, consisting of a full spectrum of colors and is much brighter than moonlight. Moonlight is the light reflected off the surface of the moon, appearing dimmer and having a cooler color temperature compared to sunlight.
The Moon doesn't shine at all. This is what bothers me about vampire movies; sunlight kills vampires, but moonlight doesn't affect them. And yet, the Moon is just a giant mirror in the sky reflecting SUNLIGHT back to the Earth! Why wouldn't the vampires all die of the reflected sunlight, that's what I want to know! Anyway, moonlight is simply reflected sunlight.
It is because the sun is a very holy object. Since vampires are antichrists, it burns their soul. That is PAINFUL. The moon is a reflection of the sun, and is still holy, but since vampires draw power from darkness, the darkness protects them.

plants need light to survive, it is how they feed themselves, whether it be sunlight, moonlight, or artificial.

Technically, yes, but it would be VERY hard for them, as the slightest exposure to sunlight will cause their skin to burn horribly. no vampires burn in the sunlight how will a vampire survive in school?? that's impossible and vampires can NOT overcome sunlight yes they can ,becouse I am a vampire myself and I can survive sunlight only I get really weak if I stand it it. And I'm not the only 1. So they can stand it only they get weak or get a mark a butterlfy on there face/nose.
Moonlight is sunlight reflected off the surface of the moon.
Moonlight is colder than moonshade because moonlight is the reflection of sunlight, which is a source of heat, while moonshade is the absence of direct sunlight, allowing for cooler temperatures.
