this recently happened to me and i started freaking out, but you just have to do everything in reverse the way you put your iPod into DFU mode.
Instructions:
1)Hold the home button for 10-15 seconds
2)hold the power and home button for 8 seconds
3)hold the power button for 2-3 seconds
By now it should turn on. It worked for me after i freaked out for 10minutes
Dfu mode is usually used to jailbreak your iPod touch
Connect it to your computer and open iTunes. Restore it.
Put it in DFU mode
Try disabling antivirus and farewell, than try to go to dfu mode by yourself until you see apple logo, and if it doesn't work try reinstalling redsnow
put ipod into dfu mode and plug it into a computer that has synced with a ipod/iphone with the desired software. Then when it asks to restore from back up go into your ipods files in my computer and drag the software onto itunes then it will do the rest p.s. to put into dfu mode hold power and home button at the same time until ipod turns off then let go of power button but hold home button for 20 more seconds then its in dfu mode
Well, if you tried holding the home screen button for 10 seconds and the DFU mode did not come up then, you can see if it lets you restore it on iTunes.
Hi To put your device in DFU mode Hold the sleep/wake button and the home button for 10-20 secs. Easy.
basically just wait for it to turn off(run out of battery) then plug it into the computer and in redsnow reboot it by putting it in DFU mode
i recommend using blackra1n if this dosent turn your iPod screen white(in dfu mode) you need to press home and power button for 10 secs then only home button for 10 seconds
I lost my internet but now it is back on. How do i take ipod touch off airplane mode and turn on wi-fii mode
No. If you are concerned about jailbreaking, you can always restore the firmware (this will erase all jailbroken apps, but you will still have your iPod). The only real risk is if you were messing around manually in the filesystem, and even then you should be able to reach DFU mode (Google it)
DFU (Device Firmware Update) mode itself does not automatically wipe your device's memory; it allows you to install firmware or restore your device without loading the operating system. However, if you proceed with a restore or update in DFU mode, it will erase all data on the device. Performing DFU mode incorrectly, such as disconnecting the device during the process, may lead to issues, but it typically won't erase your memory unless you initiate a restore.
