The R12 was an inepensive revolver made in West Germany by Reck. Reck began making inexpensive pistols in the 1950's.
There were two basic patterns of RECK revolvers, one a single action western type and the other a double action type. The GCA of 1968 ended their importation.
Reck was bought out by Umarex and fireams production gave way to gas, alarm and starting pistols.
