Anne Burras was one of the first English women to arrive in the early Virginia colony in the 17th century. She worked as a maidservant in the household of William Strachey, who was secretary of the colony. Burras later married John Laydon, a carpenter, and they became one of the earliest married couples in the Virginia settlement.
This is a very interesting question. I had to do a wax museum at a school and had to be Anne Burras. She died in 1636
