it creates 200 lbs per square inch at start up and a 1000 pounds of pressure at WOT. enough to blow your carb bowls clean out of the carburetors .
If the fuel pump relay switch is bad then the fuel pump will not be turned on. Think of the relay like a light switch. If the switch has a bad connection then the light doesnt work.
Yes , if the button on top of the fuel pump inertia switch ( shut off switch ) has popped UP , then no power is going to the electric fuel pump
check the cross over valve and lines they could be cloged maybe part of the fuel selector switch is bad I had this problem
Most vehicles with two fuel tanks have two fuel pumps. If the fuel gauge shows the reading in the front tank, the switch is most likely good, and the fuel pump is bad.
There is no switch(other then fuse) the fuel pump is inside of tank. Try thumping the tank, it has been known to work other option replace fuel pump
Broken or disconneted duct? vacuum actuated motor not working due to a vacuum leak? selector switch not working?
switch won't work
No, there is no direct connection.
if it has a roll over switch it may be in the trunk over the fuel tank and it could be a fuse or relay if that doesn't work may be a bad pump.
Most cars have a fuel pump relay switch located either under the hood in a fuse/relay box or on the firewall.
it does not switch between cng and gas all the switch does is changes the dash board fuel switch to show how much gas in in your tank when you are running on CNG
AnswerTells the fuel pump when to kick on and off. The relay has a coil and contacts, when energized, it holds the contact closed, thus the fuel pump operates.
