Your 1996 Plymouth voyager 3.0L had airbag light on and cruise control wasn't functioning after changing the clockspring cruise control is working but the airbag light is still on How can it be fixed?

If it were me I would take the air bag back out and make sure the wires arn't "pinched" or broken and make sure that it has a good tight connection with the clockspring connector. If that doesnt solve it then the airbag control unit has failed for somereason. Hope this helps some.

Is there a fuse or relay for 99 grand caravan cruise control.. light on dash not working but airbag and horn work fine..I don't think its the clock spring?

I believe there is no fuse just for the cruise control. The cruise control circuit is covered by the PCM. However, I would check the switches on the brake pedal.

Dodge Caravan 2002 airbag light on cruise and horn not working fuse ok?

You need to have someone with a scan tool check the airbag system for trouble codes. The airbag system is not a place for do it your selfers.

How do you reset the airbag warning light on a 2002 Chrysler Town and Country?

You don't. The light is on because there is a problem and will remain on until the problem is fixed. When the problem is fixed the light will go out by itself. As long as the airbag light is on the airbag won't function if needed. A common problem with an older vehicle is the "clock spring" goes bad. All or some of the electrical items located in the steering wheel like the horn, cruise control and airbag stop working when the "clock spring" fails.

What would cause the horn and cruise control to stop working and the airbag light to flash on a 94 Aerostar?

There is a "clockspring" in the steering column that is probably broken. When the clockspring breaks, the airbag light comes on. The "clockspring" takes the place of the old slip rings and spring loaded contacts used in older cars and is used to transfer circuits from the steering wheel to the stationary column making the airbag, horn and speed control operational. To replace involves removing the airbag. Take it to the dealer.

Why did cruise control on 1998 dodge caravan quit working?

I have been doing a little research here, and my cruise control quits working when the airbag light goes on and stays lit. I just went to the dodge.com site and checked for recall information under the owner services tab. Turns out the previous owner never had the recall items repaired. It could be a problem with the control, but I am feeling more like it is clockspring related.

What could it mean if the airbag light comes on in your 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan?

Faulty air bag, see the dealer!!! It could also mean there is a faulty airbag clockspring, this is located in the hub of the steering wheel, and can cause an open circuit which allows the light to stay on. This is covered in a recall issued by Dodge. The horn and/or cruise control could also be affected. I know this because we recently (03/26) purchased a '99 Dodge Caravan. The airbag light was on. We then noticed that the horn was nonfunctional. After doing some research online I found information on the recall, it also mentioned that the cruise control. Lo and behold, the next time I drove it, the cruise control didn't work. I contacted my local Dodge dealer and the problem was fixed at no charge!! The airbag light is off, the horn and cruise control both work.

Why is your 2004 Subaru Forester Cruise Indicator Light Flashing?

1. You have a problem with the cruise control. or 2. If your check engine light is also on, get the code read, cancel the light and the cruise indicator light will probably quit flashing and the cruise will start working again.

Cruise control and horn stopped working on 1997 Plymouth voyager Fuses good How do you fix?

Possible answerIs the airbag idiot light illuminated on the dash? There is a recall concerning airbag/clockspring failure on the 97. My horn failed when this repair was needed. Don't have cruise control on my vehicle. AnswerThis is caused by the clock spring inside the steering wheel behind the airbag. There is a recall for this problem. Take your car to any Plymouth dealer and it will be fixed for free. Call them first so they will have the clock spring in stock.

Your airbag light is blinking 4blinks then 1blink on your 1995 t-bird 46 v8?

i had the same problem, it's probably your clock spring. its under the steering wheel and it controls the horn, cruise control and airbag. it also could just be a bad sensor or something. Depends if ur cruise control and horn still work.
