Yes, and the main cause of this is a partially clogged fuel filter.
Yes, if the comutator in the pump is worn.
Blown fuse, defective fuel pump relay, or defective fuel pump.
I have a 1999 s-10 my fuel gauge quit working I had to replace my fuel pump that fixed my proplem
in the fuel tank it's part of the fuel pump
If it is a regina fuel system it has just one pump
could be the computer causing the pump not to run
The fuel pump in the gas tank is not working. It is a common problem with Gm products. They last about 100,000 miles and then quit all of a sudden usually with a full load of gas in the tank. Pull the tank and replace the pump.
Its possible that the fuel filter is clogged. More likely the fuel pump quit working.
Don't know about the fuse, but the most likely cause for your fuel gauge to quit working is a bad sender unit. You are going to have to drop the tank and replace the whole fuel pump assembly (you can't buy the sender by itself) Don't know about the fuse, but the most likely cause for your fuel gauge to quit working is a bad sender unit. It is a mechanical part. Sometimes they quit simply because they are worn out. Another reason they sometimes stop is letting your car run to low on fuel. Blown fuel pump fuse or defective fuel pump relay.
NO. Chevy did not use 1 on there trucks. You need to check the fuel pump relay and fuse and make sure there good and working right. More then likey the fuel pump in the tank has quit working. Chevy also had problems with the wireing connector at the fuel sending unit in the tank. Check First.
It may possibly be the fuel pump has quit working......or the fuel pump relay. Have your fuel pressure read by using a gauge connected to the fuel rail. If the pump is NOT pumping then you have to find out if it's the pump or the relay. you might check the ignition coil.
