Full synthetic motorcycle oils can and regularly do have additives to make them safe for use in vehicles with a "wet" or "oil bath" clutch. Standard synthetics tend to generate excessive slip in a wet clutch.

To accurately answer the question.

Yes you can run synthetic motorcycle oil in your car. However I would advise against doing the opposite.

What kind of oil does a kawasaki zx7r use?

I run amsoil 10w-40 full synthetic in mine. the manual says 10w-40,10w-50,20w-40,and20w-50. make sure to get an oil for a motorcycle, jaso certified to be safe as the 7r has a wet clutch. some people say you should only run semi-synthetic, I have never had a problem with the amsoil full synthetic. I would make sure to not skimp and get a quality product as the 7r is a performance motorcycle and turns a lot of rpms. last part is just my opinion.

Is it ok to use synthetic oil on a 2004 Toyota Tacoma?

It's okay to use Synthetic oil on any vehicle but bare in mind, if your vehicle has previously run on regular oil you will need to drain all the oil out completely in order to switch to synthetic, once you run on synthetic oil though you have to keep the oil synthetic because switching between different types of oil will really mess up your vehicle.

Is it okay to switch from regular oil to synthetic oil in a car that has more than a hundred thousand miles?
