Oh, dude, replacing a spark plug on a Coleman Powermate 1850 generator is like changing a light bulb, but with more grease. First, locate the spark plug, then use a spark plug socket wrench to unscrew the old one. Finally, pop in the new spark plug, tighten it up, and boom, you're ready to power up your generator like a boss.
the plug gap for generator is 0.70 mm

The best spark plug for a kW generator typically depends on the generator's engine specifications and manufacturer recommendations. Common options include NGK and Champion spark plugs, which are known for reliability and performance. It's essential to check the generator's user manual for the correct type, heat range, and gap specifications to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Using the recommended spark plug will help maintain efficiency and reduce the risk of engine issues.
The oil drain plug on a Coleman Powermate 5000 generator is typically located at the bottom of the engine's crankcase. It is usually a hex or square-shaped bolt that can be accessed from the underside of the generator. To drain the oil, make sure the generator is turned off and cool, then place a suitable container underneath the plug, remove the plug, and allow the oil to fully drain out. Always refer to the owner’s manual for specific instructions and safety precautions.
I got a plug from my local small engine shop, it is a Autolite 255.
It is directly below where you put in the oil.....it is a small bolt that simply is removed and the oil drained.
If you mean that the wire came out of the boot, then pull the boot off of the spark plug and use a spark plug socket to remove the spark plug.
