Check the battery cables. Especially the neg cable all the way down under to the starter and ground.
Try changing the starter.
I had the same problem. Putting in a new starter relay and changing out the battery cables fixed the issue.
Is it charging, if not have you checked wiring to alternator.
Disconnect the battery. Remove the H.D cable and starter solenoid wire from the starter motor, remove the bolts from underneath, remove the starter. BigBronco351
your starter might be going out does it click if so its your starter if not than maybe battery if not battery than its the alternator
Bad Battery: the clicking is the starter solenoid relay making contact but the battery is not putting out enough amps to turn the starter
No. It does not require very much power. If the battery is not putting out enough power to turn the starter, but is putting out some power it may still work. If the battery is totally dead it will not work.
Depending on engine the solenoid is located on the either the firewall or the starter. You can usually follow the neg. battery cable (black) to it. Be sure to disconnect battery when changing this part. It is in the starter.
i have same car and after changing battery and terminals i found out it was th oxygen sensor
Starter solenoid? Battery not fully charged?
dude trust on this. its your starter motor, it happened to me once. it will just cranks and it feels like the battery is dying out but nope its your solenoid on your starter motor that is worn out. best of luck dude
With motor off unplug the battery. Then remove the wires from the starter. Undo the 2 bolts holding the starter in place and remove. Reverse procedure for installation.
