To disable the seat belt chime in a 2010 Kia Soul, buckle the driver's seat belt and turn the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine. Then, unbuckle the seat belt and buckle it three times within 30 seconds. The chime should stop after the third cycle, indicating that the feature has been disabled. Remember to consult your owner’s manual for specific instructions, as procedures may vary slightly by model.
I don't know if this will work on the 2010, but some older Dodge, Chrysler, and Plymouth models could be turned off by turning the key to the on position then back to off 4 times, then press the driver's door lock button. You should hear a chime if it works.
Insert key into ignition ,buckel seatbelt, and turn key to on ,but do not start engine. Within 60 seconds, Unbuckel and buckel seatbelt 3 times. Cycling seatbelt indicater on and off . Red led in lower right of guage cluster will flash three times to indicate reprogram.
You can not disable the odometer by pulling a fuse.
Do you mean the key in ignition chime?
1. Remove the plastic cover on the side of the seatbelt receptacle using a hollow T10 torx bit. 2. Carefully pull the plastic cover away from the receptacle. It contains a spring loaded slide switch. 3. Remove the small spring and slide the switch to its lowermost position (turning the dash light and chime off) 4. Replace the side cover and screws. 5. Store the spring for future reversal of the process.
You can not disable it.

Put on your seat belt and buckle it up. The chime will then stop.
I assume you want to disable the sensor because you don't use your seatbelt? Drive with your seatbelt fastened. That should do the trick. Besides, it will save you life in an accident. And I believe that your airbag may not deploy if the seatbelt is not fastened. They are designed to work together to save your life. You *could* in theory bypass the switch, but I won't say how.(1) On January 25, 2010 at 4:27 pm User:Gregfloyd[0] said:I appreciate your concern, but actually I do drive with my seat belt on. My problem is that when I arrive home and my child is a sleep in the car and I'm in park the sensor goes off repeatedly and wakes her up. I can't take my seat belt off while the car is running. Other cars I have had the alarm will go off when you take the vehicle out of park. This one goes off non-stop as long as the car is running. Thanks
