If your 2005 Dodge Dakota's tail lights remain on after the truck is turned off, it could be due to a faulty light switch, a malfunctioning relay, or a problem with the body control module. Additionally, a stuck brake light switch or an issue with the wiring could cause the lights to stay illuminated. It's advisable to check these components or consult a mechanic to diagnose and fix the issue.
