if its a turbo that's it,if not don't know
I don't have the full answer but I know it was made in 89.5 - 91 without turbo and 92 and on with turbo..
generally if you turbo isn't working then you should feel the engine give a different note and respond differently at low revs
i am pretty sure the sr5 v6 never came with a turbo on any 4runner v6 so if you have a turbo v6 then i am pretty sure your motor would crap out.
bigger turbo, injectors you can also put an HP chip in it sorry this guy is incorrect with the chip answer dodge has a mechanical fuel pump till 1998 so if you know a good diesel mech you can have them turn your stock pump up to get more power. but before you do any thing get a K&N air filter and put a straight pipe on it. these two will help and you should get better fuel milage if that's not good then injectors and a turbo
are they both xr2 if your asking if you can swap motors its gonna be a pain you need a new harness and CPU if your going from non turbo to turbo and i wouldn't recomend using an automatic trans with the turbo motor but just the turbos you will be up set i don't know what the first guy was talking about the trans for
Look on the exhaust system for the turbo unit.
Yes it will bolt directly to it and the only reason i know is because i have a 1993 sonoma with a 4.3L motor and i had to drop the transmission and it was a 350 turbo tranny. And there is nothing different that you need to do to it
if you don't know this, you shouldn't drive an rx7...look at the engine...do you see a turbo???
It is quiet obvious when you have a turbo because when you accelerate you hear a whistling sound. The turbo noise is unmistakable.
Well im not so sure about this but i know, Peterbilt is committed to Caterpillar Engines, but i know has Cummins, and Detroit...etc. The first Peterbilts, the Peterbilt 260, had an HB6 150 horsepower Cummins.
Run the truck and look and listen a hose could be blown off. All good try to run it with the air tube off the front of turbo. ! DANGER ! AND MAKE SHURE THAT NOTHING CAN GET SUCKED IN TO THE TURBO! and you can see the thing running get a OBD II check for bad codes / to little or to much fuel and such. Hope that helps good luck
