How do you change fuel pump on 1999 Nissan Serena c23?

although there is a access panel to the fuel pump in the vehicle it would be better to remove the tank and remove the bolts from the round plate which when removed has two connectors for the gas gauge and pump then remove plastic plate which has float and gas meter and in the tank is a yellowish orange casing which houses the pump, the assembly is in slanted position and behind it is a clothes peg like clip which is part of the casing squeeze to open the clip and pull upwards to remove entire assembly when removed there will be a piece in the tank which seats the assembly do not remove replace the pump and slide the assembly into place again pulling upward to ensure the assembly is secure if it comes out the clip is not holding as it happened to me all i did was heat the bended area on the clip to minimize the gap so when inserted in the seating it holds tight you might even hear a click sound after which everything goes as removed if your hands are small enough you can try to remove it from in the vehicle which was difficult for me ,,,,,,oh there are three lines to the tank the fuel line return and breather line label them to ensure proper replacement the only line that is different is the breather which is the smallest ...i hope i was of assistance i also have one of these vehicles and if any further assistance is needed my email is OBSTINATE24@Yahoo.com
