I have the small V6 so it is no problem. Using a 3/8 socket set I reached around behind the engine to get at the rear plugs. Of couse they are out of sight so it is a meater of feel. I think it took we about 60 minutes to change the plugs and install new plug wires.
The articles I've read, along with the tech at the auto shop it sounds like a lot more work then it is. I was quoted $160 for new plugs and wires. My cost was $50 and one hour of time. Hmm, that's $100 a hour.
