It will fit, just press the lower A-frame further down than what you are doing now. I used an anchor bolt to draw it down. It is difficult, but once done, no problem. The next answer might be correct if you are talking about actually changing the entire strut assembly yourself, i.e. take the spring off. Don't do that! However, if you are only going to replace the unit as an assembly then there is no problem. the same as every strut mount. to hold the struts
All Toyota Camry's have struts in the front. This is also accompanied with strut mounts and bearings that are located between the mount & strut. I highly recommend replacing the mounts & strut bearings with the struts. My experience has shown that the mounts fail before the strut.

The bottom strut mount is connected to the frame by two retaining bolts. Remove the retaining bolts to remove the strut mount. Reverse the process to install the new strut mount.
To change the struts on a 1999 Infiniti QX4, start by safely lifting the vehicle and removing the front wheels. Then, detach the strut assembly by removing the bolts connecting it to the steering knuckle and the upper strut mount, which is accessible from the engine bay. Once the old strut is removed, install the new strut by reversing the process, ensuring all bolts are torqued to the manufacturer's specifications. Finally, reattach the wheels and lower the vehicle to the ground.
The Chrysler 300 rear struts are held in place with a retaining bolt on each end of the strut. Remove the retaining bolts and the strut will come off. Reverse the process to install the new rear struts.
