To check the Transmission Fluid in a 2003 VW Beetle, first ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and the engine is running. Locate the transmission dipstick, typically found near the back of the engine bay. Pull out the dipstick, wipe it clean, reinsert it, and then remove it again to check the fluid level; it should be between the marked lines. If the fluid level is low, add the appropriate transmission fluid through the dipstick tube until it reaches the proper level.
