yes. Yahoo mail appears to be OK, however the server managing the contacts seems to be down. You can send/receive email, but access to your contacts is gone.
You can setup a auto forward from Yahoo to Gmail. You can then use your Gmail for all further email interactions.

If you are referring to contacts in your yahoo mail, in mail select addresses, to the right of page select import/export, scroll down to export and selact any of the choices most email, pims or other contact managers recognize the yahoo csv even excel or other spredsheet program.

My yahoo web mail scans a file before it downloads its. Perhaps open a yahoo accounts forward the mail with the attachment to that and then try and open it. Advise only . . .
You can't yet add photos to yahoo contacts.
It depends what kind of email u have. I have a yahoo and all i have to do it insert the people u want to send it to and there emalis should pop up.
