The same way you take it off! But in a reverse order.
Into the power steering reservoir under the hood.
The power steering stays where it is at. There is only 1 bracket that won't hook up and that is the one that bolts to the factory exhaust manifold. You will have to modify that bracket are make a bracket that will hold the power steering pump and keep it from moving.
Use the Power Steering bracket for a D15b7.. Yes some of the D15b7 civic's came with power steering!! I think all D15 Power steering brackets will work. D15 brackets will not work!!
The power steering fluid reservoir is up on the passenger side wheel well in the engine bay. Looks like a short fat silver coke can with hoses coming out of it. On a side note, the 300zx twin turbo uses ATF (automatic transmission fluid) not power steering fluid. usually a green casing with black top. the following link is NOT a 300zx, but the reservoir is about the same. http://www.sillbeer.com/images/engine/power-steering-reservoir.jpg
Remove air filter assembly. Loosen Belt, place pan under steering box, disconnect high pressure and return hoses. Remove bracket to engine bolts, remove pivot bolt, remove bracket and pump as one whole unit. Then reverse the process to install.
Automatic Transmission fluid
To replace the power steering pump on a 1998 Acura CL 3.0, first, disconnect the negative battery terminal and remove the serpentine belt. Next, drain the power steering fluid and disconnect the hoses from the pump. Unbolt the power steering pump from its bracket and remove it from the engine bay. Install the new pump by reversing the process: attach it to the bracket, reconnect the hoses, refill the fluid, and reattach the serpentine belt before reconnecting the battery.
On a 97 with the supercharged 3.8L the power steering pump is not mounted on the same bracket as the alternator. The Alternator bracket includes the belt tension arm and has two water lines running through it but the power steering pump is mounted below it on the back of the engine. Why are you pulling the pump?
its on the passenger side silver with a black cap.
At the front left side of the engine, if you are looking under the hood.
Put it back on and tighten the bracket.
