Remove tail light housing. Remove lamp. Replace lamp. Replace tail light housing.
OPEN THE REAR HATCH DOOR REMOVE THE 2 BLACK SCREWSHOLDING THE BLACK PLASTIC HOUSING OF THE LAMP ASSEMBLY REMOVE THE HOUSING SWING OUT THE LAMP ASSEMBLY TO EXPOSE THE BACK OF IT TWIST THE BURNED OUT BULB HOLDER REPLACE BULB REINSTALL BUD
To replace a three-way light socket in your lamp, first unplug the lamp and remove the shade and light bulb. Unscrew the socket from the lamp base and disconnect the wires. Connect the new socket's wires to the lamp wires, following the manufacturer's instructions. Screw the new socket into the lamp base and reassemble the lamp. Test the new socket with a light bulb to ensure it is working properly.
You have a bulb blown on the out side some where.
1) Open hatch. 2) Remove two screws at tabs on rear of light assembly. 3) Pull light assembly away from fender in direction perpendicular to side of vehicle. 4) turn bulb/lamp socket and remove from light assembly. 5) Pull bulb from socket. 6) Replace bulb. 7) Test lamp. 8) Installation is reverse to above.

The light assy has to be removed to take the bulbs out.

Pop open the hood There's a twist screw on the top of the parking lamp that you need to unscrew Next, grab the parking lamp (not the headlamp) and give it a good pull straight out Twist the connectors, replace bulb, and you're good to go
Both are acceptable with different meaning. I read by the light of the lamp means I use the lamp to light the pages so that I can read them. I saw it in the light of the lamp means it was visible in that pool of light caused by the lamp.
