Until the battery gets low enough that it will no longer
provide enough spark to excite for combustion.
No it can not. If the belt is missing that could cause it to run hot.
If it is the belt that drives the alternator, then yes. In many cars, the serpentine belt (the huge, long belt that most think is the "belt" in their car) drives the alternator, and so if it's loose or slipping, will cause the alternator to run sporadically, which will result in a battery that doesn't retain a charge like it should.
Yes, as long as the engine is running, so is the alternator. The alternator is actually what keeps the car battery charged.
It will start but can't run for long without one. The serpitine belt drives the alternator, water pump, air conditioner and other important units to keep the engine running. Without the belt the engine will overheat very quickly and the battery will run down.
It would be in a shop manual from DISCOUNTAUTOREPAIRMANUALS.COM or I would look for a like car on a used car lot and see how it is run.
It would only run as long as the battery had a sufficient charge.
the alternator is run off of your s belt, it doesnt have its own specific belt
Is the timing belt on a j30 infinity run the alternator
No, the timing belt may drive the water pump but the alternator is driven by a drive belt or a serpentine belt. Of course if the timing belt breaks the engine will not run thus stopping the alternator from turning.
Is the timing belt on a j30 infinity run the alternator
Because your alternator is bad, and the battery does not have enough power left in it to run the car. If you were to charge the battery for awhile, it will run until the battery is DEAD, then the car will die,,, No more juce left to run it that's all . OR the alternator belt is broken.
The belt turning the alternator which is recharging the battery.
