To repair a leaking cylinder intake valve on a 2003 Saturn, you typically need to remove the cylinder head to access the valves. Depending on the severity of the leak, you may be able to reseat the existing valves or replace just the valve seals. However, if the valves or seats are damaged, replacing them along with the head may be necessary. Always ensure to check for any additional damage and use a new head gasket when reassembling.
Replace the bent valves and inspect the pistons & head for damage. Replace and repair as necessary any defective parts.
Repair or replace the oil pump, or replace the valves, if the oil pump is working properly.
It will cost approximately $400 to repair the lifters on your 2000 Toyota Camry. It can cost is much as $800 to repair the valves.
It is exactly what it says. The number of valves the engine has per cylinder. If you have 16 valves on an 8 cylinder engine, you have 2 valves per cylinder.
If valves are leaking you should have an automotive machine shop inspect and/or repair cylinder head(s) and find the cause of the problem. The machine shop can cut the valve seats to make a seal (valves, keepers, retainers may need replacement), there is no material that can be added. Also ensure the engine block is true before having work done to cylinder heads.
Valves per cylinder makes one's engine more powerful or less powerful. A engine that has 2 valves per cylinder is better that a engine that has only one.

If its a v-6 It doesn't have a chain it has a belt and you should replace it every 90,000 miles. If its a 4 cylinder and you have over 150,000 miles on it then i would change it. The benefits will out way the cost. If the chain or belt breaks you will be replacing valves and possibly some pistons.
