Honda recommends @ 45k miles and then every 30k miles after that.
15000 miles
Every 100,000 miles
I recommend every 75,000 miles.
I recommend every 5,000 miles.
For a 2013 Honda Pilot, it's generally recommended to change the oil every 7,500 miles or every six months, whichever comes first, when using synthetic oil. If you're using conventional oil, you should change it every 3,500 to 5,000 miles. However, it's important to consult the owner's manual for specific guidelines based on your driving conditions and habits. Regular oil changes help maintain engine performance and longevity.
after 15,000 to 20,000 miles
Every 3000 miles recommended.
Honda recommends changing it at 100,000 miles. I personally recommend you change it every 75,000 miles. The 2003 Honda Accord had problems with the transmission so I would recommend this as a preventative measure.
I have done quite a bit of research on this because there is competing advise. The Honda manual says 105,000 miles; others say any time you are over 75,000 miles. Overall, given the significant damage a broken timing belt can cause, it seems likely that an earlier timing belt change is better, perhaps when you have your regular service over 75,000 miles.
The timing belt on a Honda Pilot should typically be replaced every 60,000 to 100,000 miles, depending on the model year and engine type. It's important to consult the owner's manual for specific recommendations, as maintenance schedules can vary. Regular inspections are also advisable to check for signs of wear or damage. Neglecting to change the timing belt can lead to engine failure and costly repairs.
My recommendation is every 5,000 miles change the oil & filter.
