Ihave the same problem. There is a fuse for both tailights.
that is usually same fuse as tail lights
my Oldsmobile alero did the same thing. It turned out to be as simple as a blown bulb in my tail light.
Should be the same fuse for parking light/tail lights Should be the same fuse for parking light/tail lights Should be the same fuse for parking light/tail lights Should be the same fuse for parking light/tail lights
Check the brake switch at the pedal.
The tail lamps are serviced from underneath the vehicle, between the frame extension and rear bumper.
i have changed all my bulbs for a 1994 Bonneville still i have no tail lights for nite driving
No, tail lights and brake lights are not the same thing. Tail lights are the red lights at the rear of a vehicle that are always illuminated when the headlights are on, serving to indicate the vehicle's presence and size. Brake lights, on the other hand, are activated when the driver presses the brake pedal, signaling to other drivers that the vehicle is slowing down or stopping. While they are both crucial for vehicle safety, they serve different purposes.
Check to see if the parking/dash lights work - if not check the fuses Could be burned out bulbs - they are double filamented with the larger filament being used for tail lights Could be a bad headlight switch
I have a 2000 Focus Wagon. My dash lights and tailights are on same fuse labeled in the book as back up lamps. In my fuse box it is #32. .
LED lights are bright and use much, much less electricity than incandescent lamps.
Tail/parking lamps are powered from the same fuse as the dash lights. Fuse panel is either on the interior side of the firewall above the left footwell or on the left inner fender under the hood.
