Remove the battery cables. Remove the wires from the starter, but label them as to proper location, then remove the two bolts at the back of the starter, top, and bottom.
It is behind the starter. You will have to remove the starter to see are to even get to it.
disconnect neg battery cable. from underneath the vehicle,disconnect the solenoid wire and battery cable from the terminals on the starter solenoid. remove the 2 starter motor bolts and remove the starter note the location of of spacer shims if any are equiped. installation is reverse. and be sure to replace the starter shims in the same location between the engine and the starter if your model has one.
It is located on the blocked above the starter. You must remove the starter to see it.
It is screewed into the passenger side of the engine block, JUST IN FRONT OF THE STARTER. You do not need to remove the starter to see it.
Remove ground cable. Safely lift vehicle; place on jackstands. Remove any brace that obstructs. Remove the 2-3 bolts that hold the starter in place and as you drop the starter, remove the wires noting there location. Reverse process. Done.
In general, remove negative cable from battery, remove electrical wires from starter, remove bolts holding starter in place, remove starter. Replace starter in reverse order.
It is in the side of the engine block behind the starter. You will have to remove the starter to see it and to get to it.
