You've got a leak between the cooling system and the oil, most likely a blown head gasket.
The coolant has oil in it. Possible causes are a failed headgasket, or a leaking oil cooler,
The oil could be getting into you coolant system. Check to see if your radiator fluid is milky brown. It could be a leak that only happens when your jeep is in motion.
Oil and water do not mix. oil will float on top of coolant if you remove radiator cap this will be very visible, on the other hand coolant in oil will look milky white.
Sounds like engine coolant getting in crankcase, could be an intake gasket going bad.
this is usually engine coolant leaking in
so it wont over heat (its coolant and its not supposed to be oil... coolant is milky white) that is all i know from a shop
Blown head gasket. That milky look is coolant mixed with the oil. STOP driving this vehicle until you have this repaired or you will ruin this engine.
Milky oil is water or coolant in the oil. You need to find the cause and fix it. Causes include head and intake gaskets.
have the head gasket replaced
Coolant can appear milky in color due to the presence of contaminants, such as oil, which can indicate a head gasket leak or other issues in the engine. When oil mixes with the coolant, it creates a cloudy or milky appearance. Additionally, the presence of rust or other debris can contribute to this discoloration. It's essential to address this issue promptly, as it can lead to serious engine damage if left untreated.
I'm not a mechanic / technician but the first thing I would check is the engine oil ( see if the engine oil looks different than it does normally , milky looking maybe , or if the oil level has gone up ) that would indicate the engine coolant is leaking into the engine oil from perhaps a bad head gasket
If you are losing coolant, you probably have a bad cylinder head gasket. Too much coolant system pressure will drop your engine oil pressure.
