To replace the spark plugs in a Honda Fit, start by ensuring the engine is cool and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Remove the ignition coil or plug wire to access the spark plugs, then use a spark plug socket and ratchet to unscrew and remove the old plugs. Before installing the new plugs, check and adjust the gap as necessary, then thread them in by hand and tighten them to the manufacturer's specifications. Finally, reconnect the ignition coils or plug wires and the negative battery terminal.

In a 2009 Honda Fit, the spark plugs are located on the engine's cylinder head. You can access them by removing the engine cover and the ignition coil assembly. The spark plugs are situated beneath these components, typically requiring a socket wrench for removal and replacement.
Any spark plugs made by the manufacturer of your car will be a good fit, and should last for several thousand miles.
NGK CR8EH-9 Projected Resistor Type Spark Plug Have fun :-)
Honda Fit Spark plug gap is .043 in or 1.1 mm.
they are three in front and three in back just below the valve covers 5/8 wrench should fit them. unscrew them out and replace with new ones and your done. would be a good time to change plug wires also
You have to follow the wires and find the plugs first. Change those with a spark plug wrench that fit's them Replace the plug wires one at a time.
.040. Many plugs that fit the CRV are already gapped to .040. The correct spark plug gap is typically posted on a label on the underside of the hood.
hi can i service my Honda fit 2002 car
Probably 5/8" or 18mm But the socket won't fit down the hole for the plug. I tried a 13mm thin wall socket. It doesn't fit!
