LoL, sorry it is the knock sensor itself. Yota tech has more on the subject. The knock sensor is located SW of the oil filter and just a little to the right of the fuel filter. You probably have a bad connection so you may want to pull the wire clean it and the connector and you should be all set. Make sure to check along the wire too to make sure it hasn't torn anywhere.

If you have the 7MGE engine: Then the knock sensor is screwed into the engine block, directly underneath the intake manifold.
