Hi. I've just got one. The guy I bought it from, a mate who has had it for years, put EP90 gear oil in. I have a manual but it's pretty basic. I've just got mine back to the yard and am in the process of stripping it down for a good service and coat of paint. Shared info always helps so happy to talk rather than both of us make the same mistakes. 07967 489153. Cheers. Rupert
On a John Deere 450 dozer, the transmission filter is typically located on the transmission assembly. You may need to access it from under the machine, often near the oil pan or attached to the transmission case. Always refer to the specific service manual for your model for precise location and replacement instructions.
if manual transmission , it will need 90-grade gear oil
No, the oil in a Yamaha Kodiak 400 does not go to the transmission. The Kodiak 400 has a separate engine oil system and a separate transmission fluid system. The engine oil lubricates the engine components, while the transmission uses its own specific fluid for proper operation. It's important to maintain both systems independently for optimal performance.
On my 2002 Sportsman 400 the drain plug is on the bottom of the transmission. It is in the large hole in the bottom of skid plate.
I have a 1986 Dresser TD-8-E and I have been using the 10W Oil for my transmission - According to the manufacture this is the best one.
you would use polaris specified AGL fluid in the transmission
2004 Honda rancher tranimission oil
dextron 3,4
i use 10w40 auto oil
HAM
Usually the recommended grade of oil is stamped on the oil fill cap, but it is similar to automobile oil. I use a 5w30 oil in my Suzuki.
No, the motor oil does not run the transmission on a 2007 Honda Rancher 400. This model uses a separate transmission fluid specifically designed for its automatic transmission system. It's important to use the correct fluid for optimal performance and longevity of the transmission. Always refer to the owner's manual for the appropriate specifications and maintenance guidelines.
