There would be no problem. That's what fuel tanks are for, As long as the tank was designed and built for the gas (or other fuel) with which you are filling it.For instance, you would not want to try to fill a gasoline tank with liquid natural gas.
Cause' if the fuel combusted in the fuel line, you'd have a major problem.
If the Ford Ranger keeps making the fuel pump shut off, there could be a problem with the fuel tank being vapor locked. Some vehicles are set up so that the gas will not flow on the fast setting for the fuel pump when trying to make it fill automatically. Use the lowest setting for the automatic fill and see if this helps the fuel keep flowing.
it would depend on how much you would want to fill it to but if you want to fill it full , it would cost aproximatley 250,000 in todays prices
where is screen located in gas fill mine takes a long time to put any fuel in. There is no screen in the fill hose. The vent tube is probably pinched and is the source of your problem.
You could have a clogged fuel line, bad gas or some other kind of problem, definitely with fuel.
It would depend where they are buying the fuel. It carries 85,000 US Gallons.
I had a similar problem with a vehicle (don't remember make) Try running vehicle up on a couple of 2 x 4's when refilling. Problem with mine was fuel filler was lower than fuel tank
You would remove the tank and pour it out of the fill hose.
FUEL PUMP IS YOUR PROBLEM {why do you think its the fuel pump?}
I would find and replace the fuel filter first and if that's not your problem then check out the fuel pump.Good luck
I would start with the fuel filter being clogged. Sounds like a fuel problem to me I would start with the fuel filter being clogged. Sounds like a fuel problem to me
