100% Synthetic stays the same viscosity (ability to flow properly) all of the time no matter what the outside temperature. Semi-Synthetic will change viscosity as the temperature changes,,,Warmer-Thinner, Colder-Thicker.
100% synthetic is the better choice in colder climates.
You can use synthetic fluid in any car, just be sure to get all the old brake fluid out before you add the synthetic.

Your vehicle should take dexron3. If you want to spend alittle extra get a full synthetic transmission fluid ( note: if you use full synthetic your transmission will need to be flushed in order to benefit from the synthetic fluid )
