the firing order is 1.3.4.2 from the cam shaft pully end and if you look closly enough on the coil pack you can see a number stamped next to each socket for the correct lead. hope this solve your problem stafan
I can't say were because I'm yet to look but if you follow the positive terminal it should lead you there.
Look on your electronic coil pack on the right hand side of your head (where your plug leads go to) When you pull the lead out of coil, you will see numbers by the tube. It should be (from front of car to back) "2-3-4-1.
the firing order is usually marked on the engine block. the marking for the distributor can lead to being out 180°. I did that on a Rambler - had fire coming out the carb. Just turned it 180° and it was fine.
