This happenned to my chevy cavalier. It sounded like the tire tread was rubbing against the frame or something. So I got under the car to see if the tire was scuffed or the dirt was rubbed off somewhere. Nothing. I took it to the Chevy dealer to get it checked out. The mechanic said that the Power Steering pump was bad and it would cost $400 and wouldn't you know it, it just went off warranty. I needed the car right away so I didn't get it fixed right then. So about a week later, I was checking the engine oil and I thought I'd check the power steering pump resevour,it was empty. I filled it to the proper level and drove a little and the noise went away. You'd think the mechanic would have checked that.
A bad tire weight can cause a rubbing noise on full left lock on your Honda Civic 1997. A bubble on the tire can also cause this.
what would cause a rubbing noise on drivers side front wheel especially when braking ( I replaced rotor and wheel bearings are good) ?
Sometimes not all the time
If this vehicle has a transaxle, the bearing can be bad and make this type of noise.
check a/c compressor and belt.
Power Steering Fluid Low.
One thing thing that can cause a squeakingÊ noise with each revolution of a tire is new rim brakes. Bad universal joints may cause the squeaking noise or the back plate may be rubbing on the rotor.
Bad CVC joint, bad wheel bearing, bad brake pads, loose or incorrectly installed brake assembly or wheel itself.
Have that tire checked sometimes the belts inside can break and cause a thumping noise
Could be bad ball joints.
its your squirl cage inside of your blower motor. guaranteed. happened to me twice
