Squeaky brakes, sticky lifters engine knocking . Please be a little more specific.
When your clutch makes a funny noise when you step on it, you might simply have sand in the mechanism. You can begin by cleaning the clutch. If this does not help, check the clutch slave cylinder to see if it is working properly as it tends to cause a squeaking sound when it is damaged.

When the brake pad is worn out the indicator will scrape the rotor, and you will hear a grinding noise when you step on the brakes. Other ways to tell your brakes need help: Pulling to one side when stopping, spongy brake pedal, brake pedal goes almost to the floor, and steering wheel shimmy when you're braking.
It sure does . Almost like a rod knock . But with a crack flex plate if you press and hold the brake pedel and step on the gas pedel just a little the noise goes away .. With a rod knock the noise gets louder and faster as you step on the gas..
