I don't know how to post a drawing, but you should torque an intake in three stages starting with the four center bolts and then going down to each of the four corners. It's generally a circular pattern that starts in the center and works it's way out to the edges.
An auto repair manual such as Motor's or Chilton's can be very helpful in this situation.
