Several problems could cause this. The most immediate and obvious would be either burned out bulbs or a burned out fuse. Hopefully this is all it is. In many cars, the flasher lights will not flash if one of the bulbs burns out. Replacing the burnt out bulb remedies the problem. Replacing a burnt out fuse is even less expensive than a new flasher bulb. Hopefully it is not caused by a broken wire somewhere in the system. A broken wire can be maddeningly difficult to locate. A more complex cause would be a burnt out circuit board that the flashers use to control the flasher signal. Detecting that might require going to a mechanic with diagnostic equipment. Check out the bulbs and fuses first.
