First fill the Power Steering reservoir with the suggested fluid, then start the car. Turn the wheel slowly lock to lock several times periodically checking the fluid until the whining noise associated with air in the pump is gone. Inspect the lines and seals for any leaks and if it`s all good you are done. If the air is being stubborn, you can use a vacumm hand pump over the cap to help persuade it out.

The cap is located on the power steering reservoir. If you have a 3800 V6 then the pump is located on the rear passenger side of the engine. It is difficult to see the reservoir. Remember the power steering pump is driven by the crankshaft pulley so the serpantine belt drives it. Find the pump and you can find the reservoir.
The power steering pump is located on the front of the engine. The pump is on the lower part of the engine and will have a pulley on front and has a fill cap on top.
Cars that have power steering will have a PS pump run by one of the fan belts. The pump will always have a cap on it where PS fluid is added.
