A stroke occurs in the brain. A stroke is when an artery is blocked by a blood clot. Strokes are common among elderly people who have high blood pressure.
Yes
A mini stroke is called a TIA or trans ischemic attack and yes one can occur after a CVA (cerebrovascular attack) or severe stroke
two-thirds of strokes occur in people over age 65 but they can occur at any age
A stroke can occur in two ways. In an ischemic stroke, a blood clot blocks or plugs a blood vessel or artery in the brain. About 80 percent of all strokes are ischemic. In an hemorrhagic stroke, a blood vessel in the brain breaks and bleeds into the brain. About 20 percent of strokes are hemorrhagic.
The upstroke of a two-stroke engine has only one function: compression. The downstroke is where power, then exhaust, then intake occur. This is the greatest animation I've seen for explaining a two-stroke engine: http:/www.animatedengines.com/twostroke.shtml
Your 4 strokes are Intake, Compression, Power, and Exhaust. On the first revolution is Intake on the down stroke, then compression on the up stroke, the next revolution is power on the down stroke and exhaust on the up stroke, so 2 revolutions complete a full cycle. That would mean 450 power strokes occur per minute, divide that by 60 to get 7.5 power strokes per second
A hemorrhagic stroke relates to your brain. Strokes can occur in large or vast amounts (small usually referred to mini stroke). Strokes all take place in the brain. Some people usually think strokes are heart related.
Two stroke engines have one power/exhaust stroke and one intake/compression stroke per revolution per cylinder. A One cylinder engine at 900rpm produces 15 power strokes per second.
Blow-by is usually caused by worn piston rings that do not seal properly during the combustion stroke.
Nearly 700,000 strokes occur in the United States each year, with about 150,000 deaths, making stroke the third leading cause of death behind heart disease and cancer
Though there is often an expressive aphasia (inability to speak, meaningfully), comprehension may be preserved. However, it the stroke victim is left with a receptive aphasia, there can occur the inability to comprehend.
It may be due to obesity, high blood sugar, hyper tension, change of life style etc. for which stroke may occur even to a woman of 25 years !
