The oil filter in a 2010 RX350 is not your typical oil filter, meaning it's not a canister type where you can simply unscrew one filter and screw on a new one. The filter is located just forward of the drain plug. Removal of the plastic covers under the engine compartment will provide access to the filter and pan drain plug. The filter is an element replacement only (along with two O rings for sealing). The replacement filter element also comes with a drain tube to help drain residual oil in the filter canister. Drain the oil first, and then remove the element. Replace the O rings and reassemble. For help locating the filter, use the diagrams posted here. OK, you do have an owner's manual do you not? Open it and I am sure the location of the cartridge filter is listed in the manual. It does not have a screw on filter and the filter is located under the hood, under a plastic cover.
