On a 1996 Chrysler LHS, the camshaft position sensor is located on the engine's cylinder head, near the rear of the engine. It is typically mounted near the camshaft and may be accessed from the top of the engine. For easier access, you may need to remove any components obstructing the sensor, such as the intake manifold or other engine covers. Always consult a repair manual for specific instructions related to your vehicle.
