depending on what motor u have. on v6 it should be on the bottom of the motor, front passenger side, just behind the harmonic balencer. it is kind of hard to see. what i did was get on a creeper and barely get under the front end of the truck and look above the steel beam right behind the bumper and look for the wires that go to it. it will probobly be pretty dirty and hard to see. depending on what motor u have. on v6 it should be on the bottom of the motor, front passenger side, just behind the harmonic balencer. it is kind of hard to see. what i did was get on a creeper and barely get under the front end of the truck and look above the steel beam right behind the bumper and look for the wires that go to it. it will probobly be pretty dirty and hard to see.
The camshaft position sensor on a 1998 Chevy C1500 is typically located near the front of the engine, often mounted on the cylinder head or intake manifold. For the 5.0L and 5.7L V8 engines, it is generally found on the driver's side, near the distributor. It may be necessary to remove some components for better access to the sensor. Always refer to the vehicle's service manual for specific details and diagrams.
That is the only electrical device that is in the distributor. Remove the distributor cap and rotor and you will see it.
It should be on the rear tailhousing of the transmission.
off the driver side exhuast manifold
It is next to the computer behind the glove box.
95 models did not use a air intake sensor.
CO2 SENSOR
its a camshaft to crankshaft correlation fault. In other words on of the three (i think) position sensors may be bad or the timing may be off some. Could be from loose rotor bug worn distributor etc...
oil pressure switch or knock sensor
It is on a bracket mounted on the passager side of the intake manifold right above the valve cover. Its black and has a vaccum line and a electric plug on it. NEUTZ
Single exhaust? Look before and after the converter. O2 sensors measure oxygen content before and after flow through the converter.answerThe oxygen sensor is a spark plug shaped device that is screwed into the exhaust manifold. Answer:There is one sensor located before the cat convertor. It will be a 3 wire sensor.
Behind the passenger side Glovebox.
