On a 2003 Cadillac CTS, the camshaft position sensor is typically located on the front of the engine, near the cylinder head. It is usually positioned near the timing cover, often on the driver's side, and can be accessed from the top of the engine. Depending on the specific engine configuration, it may require removal of some components for easy access. Always refer to the vehicle's service manual for precise details and instructions.
It is a pain to get out! a stud prevents yopu from getting a socket on the bolt for the sensor!
The 03 Saturn Vue does not use a stand alone camshaft sensor. The system uses the ignition system as a sensor, tapping into the number one and four cylinder firing systems.
Sorry.....there are no 2002 SRT-4's.....03-05 only.....
Back of the engine ,behind intake manifold, besides oil pressure sending unit...
Depending on the year...if it's a 7.3 litre diesel between 99 and 03 i believe, start by looking under the truck on the passenger side. If you will look at the camshaft itself, above and to the right of it a hair (from under the truck) there will be a small bracket, wire harness and plug, and vuala! Camshaft position sensor. Just follow the wire up to the engine, unbolt the bolt, unplug the sensor, carefully pry the sensor out with a flathead screwdriver.
To replace the camshaft position sensor on a 2003 Nissan Murano, start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal to ensure safety. Locate the sensor, which is typically found near the engine's cylinder head. Unplug the electrical connector and remove the mounting bolt to take out the old sensor. Install the new sensor, secure it with the bolt, reconnect the electrical connector, and finally reconnect the battery.
The crankshaft position sensor (CPS) is a critical component to ignition and fuel management systems. The CPS is a small sensor with a single wiring harness and two retaining bolts found on the timing cover side of the engine.Ê
Located on the top front left (drivers side) valve cover. Vehicle production date is 04/03

why is check stability on my cadillac cts 03 and service stability
The 2003 Nissan Murano is equipped with two camshaft position sensors—one for the intake camshaft and one for the exhaust camshaft. These sensors help monitor the position of the camshafts to ensure optimal engine timing and performance.
Trouble code P1345 means: Camshaft To Crankshaft Position Correlation Fault
