The 1991 VW Jetta low pressure port can be found on the air conditioning compressor. There are two ports, the low pressure port will be labeled as such.
Your 2001 VW Jetta low pressure port can be found on the left side of the air conditioning compressor. The low pressure port is for recharging the air conditioning.
Low pressure side is on the front passenger side towards the right (driver's side)of the engine bay. you will find it on the front towrds the radiator. VW A/C systems are delicate so be sure not to over fill with too much freon.
You can refill your 1987 VW air conditioning system from the low pressure port on the air conditioner compressor. Connect your Freon bottle to the low pressure port and release the Freon into the system.

It's on the passenger side toward the cockpit, there should be two black-capped ports very close together. The low side port is the port on the right, but check to see which is colder while the car is running to be sure. The colder one is the low side air port.
The Freon is added into the low pressure ac port. It will be mounted in a metal hoes or the drier in the ac system. The low and high pressure ports are different sizes so that they cannot be mixed up.

The oil pressure light will reset on it's own when your oil pressure is good. As long as it is lit you oil pressure is too low and you should stop running the engine as soon as safely possible.
