there is none its a sensor at the rear of the trans that sends a signal to your digital dash
the wire is under the dash next to the ecm on the passenger side
Open the screw of the speedometer panel. Make sure it's not connected to the dash. Once removed, remove 4-6 screws that hold the speedomeer to the frame of the dash. Then remove the cables from the speedometer. Once loose, go underneath the steering wheel and disconnect the wire from the computer harness. Hope this helps :->
You have to take all the facia off the dash - and then pull the dash cluster out. It is a long hard job for a light bulb. When you take the dash out don't forget to undo the speedometer wire and then the wire plugs on the left and right upper sides of the dash unit.
May have replaced the wrong sensor or you have a bad wire in that curcuit. gm Jim
Under neath the speaker insulation, behind the dash board. left of the glove compartment.
take the clocks out of the dash where the speedometer is their is a load of wires coming out of that lpug it out and the green wire should be in number 10 connect to that
It is the electronics that control the dash, it's either the whole unit, or something small like a loose plug, or a wire. This happened to me on a 1995 Lincoln contennital.
Look under the dash for a single wire connector right side under the glove box.
Can it be a ground wire
there is no wire it is controlled by a sensor.
If it is electronic, it is likely a broken lead wire or ground wire. If everything else seems to be working on the dash, check the wiring under the vehicle, near the transmission.
Blue wire is for a tach I believe
