when you look at the van from the front the lowest part of the engine is the sump on the botttom of this is the plug (21mm spanner). when underneath the engine the oil filter is to the front of the sump

Assuming this is a transverse mounted engine the drain plug is located at the rear of the sump 13mm spanner or socket fits the plug.
Yes you need a Torx bit to remove the sump plug. Also be careful when you remove the sump plug, there is a O ring on the plug that may fall off. Oh by the way, alot of Astra bolts use Torx (Many manufacturers recomend that you replace the sump plug & o ring)
Hi the oil drain plug is under the engine on the sump it is very low to the ground so best to drive car up on to ramps to gain access to sump plug. Make sure you do not lose the copper washer on the sump plug hope this helps
