Location 7 in the Main Fuse Box Under Bonnet 10 Amp Fuse
Very unlikely that it has a filter.
Fuse No 24, its a 20 amp fuse also, (bottom row, 5 from left end
if you see the coin cubby storage thing to the right of the steering wheel, grab it at the bottom and pull out toward you, fuse box is behing there... just pops out and then clips back on
Yes no problems at all as the mk4 and 5 are basicly the same car.
My 2000 323iT wagon's fuse card shows that the washer system has THREE (!) fuses: #49 (5 amps) bottom left bank 4th from the center, #52 (30 amps) bottom left bank rightmost, #59 (30 amps) bottom right bank 7th from center. I don't know why there are three fuses stated on the card just for the the washer. I removed the 5 amp fuse (#49) because the washer was not working but as soon as I unplugged the fuse the alarm blared out! Reading through the manual did not tell me anything on how to avoid triggering the alarm. Maybe I should insert the key in the ignition in the OFF position. I'll try that tomorrow.
right hand side of the engine is black fuse box next to battery open the lid via the two clips under side is a map for the fuse block this tells you the fuse location in my case it is number 1 there are 5 replacement fuse's also if they already haven't be used :)
The Mk-III had radar and barometric fuzing, as it was intended to be detonated as an air burst. However, since nuclear weapons were so secret, the Mk-III (Fat Man) atomic bomb had four AN-219 piezoelectric fuzes installed in its nose, which would destroy the weapon, and prevent any recognizable fragments of the weapon, and elements of its design from being salvaged by the enemy, that might give them an idea as to how it worked. The contact fuze on the Mk-5 nuclear bomb was used as a "salvage fuse," in other words, in case the radar fuses failed and the bomb impacted the ground, the contact fuses were meant to set off the firing circuits to try and ensure a nuclear detonation. If the bomb hit the ground, it would probably explode, but the explosion would not create the symmetrical implosion which was necessary to produce a nuclear yield.

10/40 or 5/40 will be fine for this Astra.
Many pits were reused in the Mk-6 bomb, and in fact, the Mk-6 was basically a modified version of the Mk-4. The Mk-5 bomb used type D pits, much like some of the Mk-4, so some may have been reused in that weapon.
