Delayed dash lights in your 2003 Grand Am could be due to a few reasons, including a failing dimmer switch, a weak battery, or issues with the ignition switch. Corroded wiring or poor connections in the electrical system might also cause delays. It's advisable to check the battery and wiring first, and if the problem persists, consider consulting a mechanic to diagnose the issue further.

For a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the fuse for the backup lights is typically a 15-amp fuse located in the fuse box under the hood. Always refer to the owner’s manual or the fuse box cover for the exact location and specifications, as they can vary slightly by model and configuration. If the backup lights are not functioning, check this fuse first, along with the bulbs and wiring.
I have the same sound in my 2003, Pontiac Grand AM. I am unable to located were it is coming from?
Some have "fake theft" lights. If the light is blinking red near the radio then it is a fake.
I figured my own question out....all it was, was the fuse.
