Fuel Pump recives alectrical power from alternator, change in alternator will change the value of voltage & ampere in the ckt which in turn will change the rate of fuel to the MPFI system.

As a low cost measure , in a situation where fule pump is not to be changed but a change in alteranator is there, fuel pump needs to be calibrated w.r.t. top the desired metered fuel & with ECU in tandem sp that KMPL & Toruque & speed characterstics do not get disturbed.
