Why has the proper hand position on the steering wheel changed in the last 15 years?
The proper hand position on the steering wheel used to be 10 and 2 but it has changed and is now 9 and 3. I am not 100% why it changed but I believe it changed so you could have a better grip on the steering wheel.
Part of the reason for the change was to have your arms out of the way of the airbag.
