How have you locked the car? If you locked it with the key, then the alarm probably isn't armed anyway. If you did manage to lock it with the remote, then unlock with the key. Open the door, and imediately put the key in the ignition and turn the ignition to the run position. The car will recognise the transponder chip in the key, and switch the alarm off if it has started sounding.
When the key is in the "start" position all accesssories are designed to be "locked out" to concentrate all the available power to the starting circuit. How about the "on" position - do accessories have power at that position? - if not could be a bad ignition switch
With the key stuck in the accessory position the steering wheel is locked and the gearshift is locked in the park position. Perhaps you should consider having a locksmith change the key cylinder where it is, or else have it towed to the garage.

Slightly turn the steering wheel and it should let you turn the key to on position
A mechanism that locks the steering wheel if the ignition switch is not in the "run" position, preventing someone that is trying to steal the car by hot wiring the ignition from driving the car.
If the battery is dead it will not allow the key to return to locked position. Thus trapping you key in the ignition.
